ACUPWR’s ADUW-750 is a 500-watt/volt amp step up/step down voltage transformer that hard-wires directly to a junction box via a knock-out box housing. [ACUPWR suggests using a qualified and licensed electrician for installation.] This design is ideal for connecting high-power appliances, such as cook tops, steam machines, stoves and ovens, ranges, and grills, that typically rely on 220-240-volt AC power, to connect with 110-120-volt household circuits. Alternately, the ADUW-750 can also convert power from 220-240 volts to 110-120 volts also with hard-wire installation. Overload protection for the ADUW-750 is provided by the internal breaker of the building’s circuit box.
