Watch the video above to see for yourself why ACUPWR transformers are the world's safest, most energy efficient, and most reliable!
ACUPWR’s Tru-Watts™ AU-500 voltage transformer is a step up model rated for 500-watt loads that converts voltage from 110-120 volts to 220-240 volts, thereby allowing appliances and electronic devices that require 220-240 volts to operate in the USA and Canada. It comes with a Type B plug and a Type F receptacle, Receptacle is CEE 7/3 Which provides grounding to CEE 7/4 or CEE 7/7 Plugs

Why You’ll Love It…
American-Made Quality
The AU-500 and all ACUPWR voltage transformers are manufactured in the USA with premium components that include copper wiring and silicon steel cores. All of our products are assembled by hand and bench-tested well beyond their stated wattage to ensure safety, reliability, and years of service.
Tru-Watts™ Power means "No Two-Times the Wattage" Rule
ACUPWR Tru-Watts™ voltage transformers are guaranteed to deliver electricity at and beyond their stated wattage capability. You would think this isn’t a big deal, but compare ACUPWR transformers with our foreign-made competition: they recommend that you buy transformer with twice or even three times the wattage capability--a rule of thumb commonly known as the "Two-Times the Wattage" rule--because their transformers are famous for breaking with loads that are well under their stated wattage, and also catching on fire and overheating (see our video above). With Tru-Watts™, offered only by ACUPWR, you only need to buy the transformer that offers the wattage capability required by your appliances.
Thermal Protection Sensor
The key to our Tru-Watts™ capability is our proprietary thermal protection sensor. This feature serves as an overload breaker by detecting excessive heat caused by a wattage or voltage overload, and consequently turning the transformer off. The unit returns to operation when the overheating dissipates (approximately 30 minutes). Because of this
Our thermal protection sensor makes ACUPWR the safest alternative to our competition's overload protection, which relies on an ordinary glass cartridge fuse that, as the above video demonstrates, often does not blow when their transformer is overloaded. Definitely unsafe!
Lifetime Warranty and Customer Support
ACUPWR products come with a lifetime warranty, up to $10,000 of damage protection, and ongoing customer support.

Goes Above Stated Wattage If Needed!
The ACUPWR AU-500 will operate at 120-percent beyond its stated wattage IF NECESSARY, such as in the event of a power surge or inrush voltage. In such an instance, It’s nice to know that that wattage “cushion” is there. Please note that we don’t recommend using an appliance with wattage requirement that is beyond what’s stated on the transformer. (Doing so can void the warranty.)
Thermal Protection
The ACUPWR AU-500 uses a thermal protection circuit instead of fuses. This circuit detects excessive heat caused by an overload. The circuit automatically turns off the transformer and restarts the unit when it has returned to normal operating temperature.
Lifetime Warranty and Customer Support
The AU-500 and all ACUPWR products come with a lifetime warranty and continuous customer support. We encourage our customers to contact us with any concerns or questions about our products. Our response is timely, courteous, and supportive.
Plug Shapes Not a Problem!
The AU-500 voltage transformer comes with a Type B (NEMA 5-15P) plug and a Type F Schuko receptacle/output. The Type F Schuko is common throughout Europe and other 220/240-volt countries, yet many other plug shapes are also used in 220-240-volt countries. Nonetheless, nearly all 220-240-volt appliances and electrical devices have a unique plug that correlates with the country they’re designed to be used in. Is this a problem? Absolutely not! ACUPWR manufactures plug adapters that can turn any plug type (there are more than a dozen) into a Type F plug.
Versatility and Dependability
ACUPWR’s AU-500 and all of our voltage transformer models can be used in any interior setting and environment, whether it’s your bedroom, a garage, a manufacturing space… wherever. They’re built like tanks and can handle dust, heat, and moisture, and they’ll keep chugging along—quietly!—under heavy duress.
